Post and Beam Structure

This study focuses on the post and beam timber structure with the case study on a residential building in Berlin. It was not the best solution for a residential building, but we could learn the pros and cons of this specific structure.

There are four aspects of the study: Elementation, Durability and disassembly strategy, Transport and Assembly, and Manufacturing. We use this study to help us evaluate better timber structures for specific building types in the future.
